Each year WYD normally mounts two or three major drama productions in local theatres. We also stage some smaller pieces, such as works in progress, devised pieces from Workshops and also events in community settings.

WYD has participated in the National Festivals of Youth Theatre, hosted and participated in several Southeast Festivals of Youth Theatre and taken part in a number of international exchange projects with other youth theatres.

Most WYD theatre productions are performed at the theatre at the Garter Lane Arts Centre at 22A O'Connell Street in Waterford. Click here to see a seating plan.
