27th May - Representative match against Belfast Insurance Institute in LeisurePlex, Coolock.

About the Section
Each year the DIAS holds a Tenpin Bowling League in LeisurePlex, Stillorgan.  This league runs from the beginning of April until the end of June.  It will be run two nights each week; Monday's and Wednesday's.

The league is made up of teams of up to five people representing companies who are members of the DIAS.  It provides an environment to meet with other members of the industry and also to have some fun.

Details of the league will be forwarded to all companies who are members of the DIAS early in March, so if you are interested in entering into the league, please keep an eye out for more details.  Alternatively, please contact one of the committee members for more details.

If you are interested in participating in the league, but are unable to put a full team together please contact any of the committee members and they can put you in touch with others who are in the same situation and a team can be formed from more than one organisation.

Another event held each year is a bowling tournament played against our industry peers from Belfast.  The event is held in Dublin, the Belfast each alternate year.  This year the tournament will be held in Dublin on Friday 27^th May.  The team to be selected to represent Dublin will be chosen from the DIAS Tenpin Bowling League of 2001 and also from those competing in the 2002 league.
