About the Section The earliest reference to the Golf Section is found on the Myerscough Cup which records the inaugural winner for 1921. At present the entire history relies on the annual trophies and their inscribed winners.
All are still active competitions and have been continuous since inception apart from the Hoey & Denning which was interrupted by WW2 and the Northern troubles in the early 70's.
