Membership

Membership of the Society is open to the employees and retired employees of the Dublin Offices of Insurance Companies, Insurance Brokers, Insurance Assessors and Adjusters. A Dublin office means any office within thirty miles of the General Post Office, Dublin.

An Office on behalf of its employees may apply for membership or any individual who is an employee of an Office may apply for Individual Membership on his/her own account. Retired employees are entitled to continue membership as an Individual Member.

The Committee of Management shall consider applications for membership at their monthly meetings. Election to membership shall be at the absolute discretion of the Committee of Management.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are set out in the constitution of the D.I.A.S. as agreed by it's members at an A.G.M.. A prospective member may inquire as to an appropriate fee, with the Honorary Treasurer of the Committee of Management. A copy of the Constitution is freely available to Individual Members and the nominated representative of a Member Office on request.
