Fingal's Celtic Heritage

Our very interesting talk on Tuesday November 8th. was given by Paddy Boyle and entitled "Fingal's Celtic Heritage". The talk dealt with the beginnings of the Irish (Celtic) language, whcih belongs to the Indo-European family of languages.

Paddy discussed this heritage using Manuscript references, including the Táin Bó Cuailgne Mss., featuring Celtic Warriors and Druids. He also gave us many examples of how place names in Fingal have their origins way back in early history.
