ANDREA JAMESON was born in Oslo in 1953. Her mother is Norwegian and her father Irish. Her home has always been in Co. Waterford. After school, she went to Florence to study with drawing teacher Signorina Simmi for one year and then became a pupil of Maestro Giovanni Colacicchi. Andrea moved to London and studies drawing, painting and sculpture at the City and Guilds School. Her solo exhibitions were held at the Wellesley Ashe Gallery in Dublin (1976), Lady Lane Gallery (1981), Oliver Swann Gallery (1983) and Gorry Gallery (1993), both London. She also exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy Banquet Exhibition in 1992. Examples of her work are in private collections in Europe, Scandinavia, America and Bermuda.
