| JOHN O'CONNELL began his career in Art at the tender age of 14, when he became an apprentice to the late New Ross sculptor Seamus Furlong. One of the commissions he worked on there was a bronze chess set for Bono. John later studied special effects and model making at the Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design before beginning a career painting. |
