Corrower Ogham Stone

Although standing at the back of a farmhouse this ogham stone can be clearly seen from the road, which is understandable given its dimensions. The stone stands at 2.82 metres high by 1.04 metres wide and about a 0.25 metres thick. It is thought to be an earlier megalithic standing stone with ogham inscription added as late as the seventh century. The inscription read
