JAPANESE ANTI-BOMB VISITORS -
EVENT, INTERVIEW POSSIBILITIES, PHOTO-OPPORTUNITY

A delegation of eleven members of the Japan Council against A and H Bombs (Japan Gensuikyo) will hold a short commemoration in Merrion Square at the cherry tree planted by Irish CND (south-west corner) at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 29th May (meeting 1.00 p.m. at the Mont Clare Hotel).

The delegation includes survivors of the A Bombs dropped on Japan in 1945.

The event will provide a photo-opportunity.

Interviews can also be arranged at Buswell's Hotel from 8.30 p.m. onwards, on the same day.

The Japan Council against A and H Bombs was founded in 1955 and works for the prevention of nuclear war, the elimination of nuclear weapons, and relief and solidarity with A and H Bomb victims.
