ALTAR SERVING: We are in the process of reviewing and developing our system of altar serving in our parish. Children are no longer serving morning Masses on schooldays but are continuing to serve weekend and special Masses as usual. Sincere thanks to children and their parents who are so committed to this essential ministry in our Church. Adults who are interested in serving weekday Masses are invited to contact the sacristy or Parish Office.

Extract from e-mail received from Fr. Kevin Fleming, Korea: "This time last year was special for me, just getting used to the build up and buzz about Ashbourne during the Advent Season. I was amazed at the turn out for the Sacrament of Forgiveness and the Christmas Carol Sessions were a revelation and a real treat. I could go on forever about the great and lovely memories I still carry with me from Christmas in Ashbourne year 2001, but it could become boring, so I hope you enjoy a Happy Christmas and New Year. Peace to Frs. Jim and Michael, to all the staff and wonderful parishioners of the Parish of Ashbourne/Donaghmore. From Korea, Fr. Kevin"
