OK, I gave up on the romantic notion that I would ever care enough to trawl through the Web to find the best Bloom County, Calvin and Hobbes and X-Files sites.and put up the usual string of links that most people do. So instead, I'm gathering together some of the things I found funny that I've come across in my e-mail box over the last year and a half. Much as I'd like to say I did, I didn't write any of these (except the Father Ted sketch), so credit where appropriate to the authors.

• If you like Edgar Allen Poe's poem 'The Raven' (or even if you've never seen it or heard of it), click here for a slightly alternative slant on it. This prompted a friend of mine (Hi Bev!) to send me another version, which you can see here.
• Being Irish, we are known to indulge in the odd (very odd!) pint of beer. For those of you who aren't sure of your drinking technique however, may I recommend The Beer-Drinkers Guide to Troubleshooting.
• I used to work in technical support, dealing with computer users at various levels of ineptitude. This is a look at the sort of calls General Motors could expect to their hotline if people bought computers the same way as they buy cars. Believe me, these people do exist, I've talked to all of them!!
