Kilfenora

Kilfenora is a charming village, famous for its' traditional Irish music and dancing. Traditional music session can be heard most nights in the pubs in Kilfenora. Set Dancing (local Folk Dancing) is held every Sunday and Thursday night all year round. From October to April set dancing classes are held prior to the dancing every Thursday night. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in.

The Burren Interpretative Centre in Kilfenora reveals the mysteries and complexitites of this unique area, and provides guided tours of the 12th Century Cathedral and graveyard where the Famous High Crosses are situated.

There are three well stocked craft shops in the village offering a wide variety of gifts at varied prices.

There are two grocery shops in the village and they are open late most nights.

Lisdoonvarna, the famous match-making centre of Ireland, and home to the famous Spa Wells (a sulpher health spa) is only a short distance from Kilfenora village.
