Carrowtrasna
This rather fine tall stone stands at some three and a half metres high and is beautifully situated on the North East coast of Mayo at Lackan Bay. Local folklore says that the stone was erected by Saint Patrick, but this stone was probably standing here a long time before St Patrick. |
