Born Armagh 1773- Died Dublin 1843. Irish Folk Song Collector and Musician He was an articled assistant to William Ware at St. Anne's Church Belfast, he acted occasionally as deputy up to 1820 when he went to live in Dublin. He published three collections of Irish Music and saved a vast amount of material that would have been lost otherwise. He is buried at Mount Jerome (Dublin). [Under Construction]
