My branch of the Phair family is from Killashandra, Co. Cavan, Ireland. My Great Great Grandfather was William Phair. He died on 30th April 1865. He was Married to Isabella Armstrong. He had a brother Thomas.

My Great Grandfather was John Phair (1840-1902). He married Elizabeth Stevens while he was in Australia, This was early in the 1860’s. Elizabeth was, as I understand it, from Lincolnshire in England.

My grand father was John Joseph Phair (1876-1948). He was married to Mary Anne O’Reilly (1872-1968). John Joseph Phair, as well as sisters, had a brother William Robert Phair (b. 1868) who emigrated to Australia.

My father was Joseph Phair (1907-1967). He was married to Anna M Reilly (1909-1996).
