General

Belt filters are cost effective for filtering or dewatering certain wet materials and sludges in high volumes on a continuous process.
Filtrate clarity is usually good and dryness of the output cake depends on the Belt Filter chosen and the material handled.
Biological Sludges are suitable for Belt Filter dewatering:

  1. Municipal Sewage sludges
  2. Water Treatment sludges
  3. Food Processing sludges
  4. Paper Industry sludges
  5. Agricultural sludges
  6. Brewery Effluent
  7. Meat Factory sludges

Slurries of mineral material are also suitable for dewatering by Belt Filter.
