Single Belt Filter




Our single belt filter incorporates the following technical features which ensure improved performance:

  1. The machine is constructed of corrosion free stainless steel. All structural framework, rollers, scrapers etc., are included in this material.
  2. The gravity drainage area of the belt is supported on hydrofoils which are vibrated to accelerate drainage.
  3. Outside pressure rollers are used to compress the cake against the belt to increase drainage pressure.
  4. NIP rollers of the RC vented nip design are pneumatically loaded to allow optimum mechanical dewatering pressure.
  5. The belt tension is controlled by pneumatic activator to allow optimum setting of the belt tension.
  6. The finest quality Swedish filter belts are used with Klipper seams and edge sealing. Polyester mesh of a suitable weave may be selected.
  7. A pneumatic, automatic belt tracking system is included on all machines.
  8. An improved system to remove dewatered sludge cake from the belt is provided comprising of two blades.
  9. A backwash system is provided to continuosly clean the belt. This includes several unique features:
  1. Floculation Tank: This is designed to provide optimum floc formation and results in reduced polyelectrolyte usage. Backward sloped agitator blades prevent fouling and a dissolved air flotation system raise the floculated particles to the surface.
  2. The electrical control panel incorporates control for all motors an the machine and also for auxiliary equiptment. Optimal PLC control may be fitted to effect remote control of the unit. The control panel is fitted in a stainless stell enclosure. Telemecanique panel components.
