Gardening

Gardening is my biggest hobby, specializing in scented plants and flowers which attract butterflies, moths and other insects as well.

Ten years enjoying a loveling spot on a garden complex in Netherlands (Groningen), where the mature garden attracted not only lot of insects, but visitors as well, now back to Irish grassland with only sheep on them.

Best plants: walking chamomille, herbs, Dictamnus, wild plants. Most plants (except walking chamomille of course, which does not flower) raised from seeds.

Plans for the future: a garden with scented plants and fruittrees in the middle of the Slieve Ardagh hills, surrounded by grazing sheep on a prehistoric enclosure.
