Sarsfield's Ride:
11 August, 1690.
The outward ride was north to Killaloe and across the Shannon, then southwest to Rear Cross, south to Monard, and west to Balyneety.
The return journey retraced the route to Rear Cross, but then turned north around Loch Derg.
