GUIDE TO INSTALLING IRC

using our IRC web chat room and decide
you want to use IRC on a more regular basis then try MIRC - Read our

First you need some software, most IRC software is available free.
Below is a list of several IRC programs available on the internet.
I reccomend Mirc, it's easiest to use and is more user friendly. (a must for newbies)
Install the software, that you've just downloaded....
It's pretty easy to do just find the file on your computer and it run it by double clicking on it, etc...
Follow the online help if you get stuck!
Fill in all your user settings, this includes a Nickname, Your E-mail address and a brief description about yourself.
Your nickname must be less than 9 characters long.
Connect to an Undernet server
The #Gay-Ireland channel is located on Undernet...When IRC is loaded it will have many Undernet sites listed,
pick one closest to you alternativly choose one of the many servers from the
list at the end of this page.
Once connected to Undernet type /join #gay-ireland
There is usually somebody online... If not then be persistant because sometimes there
can be loads of people on...it's very hard to predict and there are plenty of other channels
to keep you occupied too just type /list for a full listing of channels.
