The Georgian House, 3 Day Place, Tralee presents
O ' Carolan Revival - the life story of the blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan, his music, poetry and folklore recounted in a witty and entertaining style. Group bookings of up to 30 people can be accommodated and wine and refreshments served.
Poetry Evening - readings from the great Irish poets- Yeats, Kavanagh, Kennelly, Sigerson Clifford and many others.
Poems read by Collette-Nunan Kenny, with a musical interlude and refreshments.
The guided tour of 3 Day Place - which gives an insight into the interesting life and times of Justice Robert Day. The house is a fully restored Georgian town house dating from 1790, using only original design and furnishings of that era. Available at any time of the year for groups.

** A gala evening of classical music, poetry and storytelling by Samhlaoicht Chiarrai takes place on Fri. 30th Nov. at 8:00pm. Performers include: Tom Fitzsimmons (classical guitar), Diana Segara (singer and poet), Ann Egan (storyteller), Priscilla Bodi O'Donovan (mezzo-soprano), Eliza Buckley (flautist), Alison Gleasure (cellist), Louis Mulcahy (baritone), Theresa Glavin (classical guitarist) and Amy Ryan (flautist).
