The results of our survey speak for themselves with the garages charging the lowest prices for unleaded petrol featured at the top of the list. The price of unleaded has changed dramatically since Tuesday 31st July, when Kelliher's Garage re-opened after a long absence. The price has dropped once again from 64.5p on Sunday to 62.9p today. The cheapest petrol in town is now available at four garages: the re-opened Kellihers, Rathass; Joe O'Connor's, Clash Cross; Manor Statoil; and Nolan's, NCR, priced at 62.9p. There is now a price difference of 5.0p between the cheapest and dearest for unleaded (with some garages having dropped their prices by up to 9p/litre since Tuesday 31st July) and a 4.0p difference in the price of diesel. Remember - the AA is advising motorists to shop around for fuel, forget past loyalties and buy by the litre not by the cash amount! Before your next fill-up, check here for the best price in town.
