Hedley 1885

Hedley was born 27 January 1885 in Harleston and died in Norwich 16 May 1953. From early photographs he appears to be a nifty dresser.

He married Maud Henson Musk on 9 September 1912, she was born in Newmarket in 1869 and died in 1961. Maud was 16 years his senior but outlived him by 8 years. They lived at 2 Wilderness Terrace on the London Road in Harleston, next door to where I spent the first yers of my life.

Hedley ran the family business with Sydney. He was band master at Pulham during World War I. He was a keen fisherman.

Taken by the author. Maud lived with her parrot and obviously a cat (I didn't remember that). She enjoyed doing jigsaws and belonged to a jigsaw club.
