Click on Start | Programs

Double click on the Communications icon will bring up another screen

Double click on Remote Networking

Double click on Make New Connection

Enter an appropriate name for the connection - Indigo. Select the connection type - Dial-Up Connection

Clicking Next will bring up the Select a modem screen, It is a good idea to have already plugged in your hardware, so that Windows CE will hopefully detect it.

Enter the appropriate POP telephone number.

Clicking on the Configure button will take you to the next screens.

The maximum speed on a GSM network is currently 9600bps, so leave the speed that the palmtop talks to it running at 19200bps.

Now, click on the TCP/IP Settings button and enter the appropriate DNS server addresses.

Clicking OK will complete the process and bring you back here to the program group.

Now it’s time to test this connection we’ve created.

Once the connection has completed, we can now hide the box and we can do such things as Email and web browsing.
