It is based on a holistic (mathematical) interpretation of the eight roots of unity (i.e. x8 = 1) which can be given a geometrical interpretation as follows:
The horizontal (x axis) gives the real roots +1 and -1.
The vertical axis (y axis) gives the imaginary roots + i and - i (where i = square root of -1)
The diagonal axes give the complex roots:
The axis sloping up from L to R gives 1/{square root of 2 (1 + i)} in top quadrant and 1/{square root of 2 (-1 - i)} in bottom quadrant
The axis sloping down from L to R gives 1/{square root of 2 (-1 + i)}
in top quadrant
and 1/{square root of 2 (1 - i)} in bottom quadrant.
Using the Pythagorean Theorem the magnitude of the diagonal axes - in each of the quadrants = 0.
(The triangle in the UR quadrant illustrates this point. Because the diagonal lines are drawn an equal distance from both x and y axes, the magnitude of the horizontal and vertical lines of triangle are similar (1/square root of 2 and 1/(square root of 2i) respectively).
Therefore the square on the diagonal line of triangle (i.e. hypotenuse) is equal to th sum of the squares of the other two sides (1/square root of 2)2 + (1/square root of 2 i)2 = 1/2 - 1/2 = 0.
These real (horizontal), imaginary (vertical) and complex (diagonal) roots have a remarkable holistic mathematical interpretation which is the basis of "The Theory of Everything".
From a dynamic perspective all reality can be explained in terms of three fundamental symmetries (i.e. complementary opposite poles).
All holons dynamically interact in terms of opposite poles (that are
horizontal).
These poles are commonly expressed as exterior-interior, objective-subjective,
outer-inner etc.
In holistic mathematical terms the horizontal poles are "real" with
positive and negative directions.
All holons dynamically interact in terms of opposite poles (that are
vertical).
These poles are commonly expressed as quantitative-qualitative, part-whole,
individual-collective etc.
In holistic mathematical terms the vertical poles are "imaginary" with positive and negative directions.
Finally all holons dynamically interact in terms of opposite poles (that
are diagonal).
These poles are commonly expressed as actual-potential, manifest-unmanifest,
dual-nondual etc.
In holistic mathematical terms the diagonal poles are "complex" ("real" and "imaginary") with positive and negative directions.
They have also an alternative "transfinite" interpretation corresponding to the (infinite) creative void (=0).
In their pure symmetrical state (corresponding to the null levels of
LL3 and HL3),
no separation of poles takes place. Here reality is totally circular
(i.e. curved).
Thus these roots of unity provide a perfect (holistic) mathematical description of the fundamental symmetrical void underlying reality (both in its pure undifferentiated and differentiated states).
At all other levels this perfect symmetry is broken. Reality is now asymmetrical in its manifest aspects, yet also perfectly symmetrical in terms of its underlying structure.
All these other levels have both linear (asymmetrical) and circular (underlying symmetrical) aspects.
At its simplest reality in dynamic terms is a transformation process which can be described in terms of this holistic (or qualitative) binary system i.e. the interaction of the linear (1) and circular (0).
In my model all the levels of the Spectrum are modelled in terms of
"The Theory of Everything".
