The Shepherd Debt
is as pervasive as wealth in Celtic Tiger Dublin, giving every scope from the
unscrupulous to take advantage, not simply the banks or Eddie Hobbs, but
somebody who’s goal is even darker than profit or self promotion. The plight
of the first time buyer, living on credit, is given an extremely dark twist,
when a stranger calls one night on a young, Dublin couple, offering to
shepherd them out of their debt, but at a terrible cost.
