- NEWS ITEM ONE - Graphics on web pages.
Graphic Buttons on left will be on the
Top level Home page.
The Left Bar (withor without graphics)
are optional. Where used, a standard
layout will be provided.
If members may can create their own
graphics for HEADER2 and LEFTBAR provided
they follow the following standards:
- Top graphic HEADER1 to be used at
the top of ALL pages.
- HEADER2 graphic image can be any
image or graphic that the members
wishes. The Chamber web team will
provide a basic image of the
member's premises and Logo that
will fit across the page (700
pixels wide). Where a member has
no Logo an image of shop front or
proprietor/manager is suggested.
- Additional graphics, pictures or
logos, may be used to illustrate
the members web page. It is a
members responsibility to source
these.
- Where specialist graphics are
required for page quality, local
graphics designers will be
provided. This activity is beyond
the scope of the Web team.
- The total size of all files
(Graphic and HTML) will not
exceed 70 Kbytes.
- NEWS ITEM TWO - Content of each web page.
- Headers with images as outlined
above.
- Products offered.
- Contact information to include
email address. Where a member
does not have an email account
the Chamber email account will be
listed and any messages received
will be routed through to the
member (up to an agreed limit).
- Optional: Price lists, pictures
of products, Pictures of people,
map ('how to find us').
- NEWS ITEM THREE - et cetera.
- Note that the page content that
is visible when first loaded,
i.e. near the top of the page are
first to be seen by person
browsing the web. Content further
down the screen should be lower
lower priority - it is less
likely to be read !
