History
The club started life in the 60's as Kilcullen Canoe Club (KCC) and is one of the oldest canoe / kayak clubs in Ireland.

KCC amalgamated with DAKC (Dun Aillainne Kayak Club) in the 80's retaining the KCC name.

To reflect the non canoe / kayak nature of many activities carried out by the club the current name (KCOPC) was adopted in 199?.
