Thom Moore

Thom MooreSolo + Musicians

Thom Moore is an American-born singer/songwriter who now lives in Ireland. He manages to combine many jobs such as musician, songwriter, English teacher, Russian interpreter/translator, and radio broadcaster, writing and presenting RTE Radio One's THOM MOORE'S MELODIES series in 1998. His songs, include such Irish classics as "Saw you running", "Cavan girl", "The Scholar"(train from Sligo), "Carolina Rua", "Woman Undone", "The Fog in Monterey", and "Still Believing" have been recorded by his own 70's groups Pumpkinhead and Midnight Well, as well as a host of Irish and international stars the likes of Mary Black, Maura O'Connell, Mary Coughlan, The Dubliners, Danny Doyle, The Newgrass Revival, Barleycorn, and many others. His most recent recording was "Gorgeous & Bright". Thom is available for bookings throughout the year.
