Eleanor McEvoySolo + Band

One of Ireland's foremost singer/songwriters, her musical career started when she entered an Irish music competition at the age of four. Since then, she has achieved star status when her song appeared on and inspired the title for "A Woman's Heart". It has since become one of the best selling albums in Irish history. Among some of the awards she has received to date are: the Irish Record Industry Award for Best New Artist in 1992, Irish National Entertainment Award for Best New Artist in 1993 and Hot Press, named her Best Solo Performer in 1992 and Best Song Writer in 1993. Eleanor has just completed an acoustic tour of Ireland with pianist Brian Connor, to promote the release of her latest album "Yola" which was received with much critical acclaim. Eleanor is available in Ireland for bookings until September and won't be touring Ireland again until next summer.
