Macken's Farmhouse and John Joe's Farmhouse are traditional self-catering farmhouse cottages overlooking Valentia Island, just off the world-famous Ring of Kerry in the Southwest of Ireland. 
In a spectacular position near the shore, both farmhouses have great views of Valentia Island, the sea, and mountains. Very secluded and peaceful.
Accommodation for 7 people + infant cot in each. Duvets with linen and towels provided.

Local Atractions
Skellig Islands, including Skellig Michael with its 6th century monastic settlement, and Little Skellig with its 23,000 pairs of gannets as well as puffins, shearwaters and many other species of sea-birds.

Valentia Island where the footprints of a Tetrapod (dinosaur) 385 million years old have been discovered.

 Derrynane House and National Park. Numerous sandy beaches, spectacular scenic walks, drives and cycles.
 

Boat trips, fishing, golf, scuba-diving, deep sea angling, horseriding, water-sports, seafood, restaurants and pubs with traditional Irish music.
