40 years tradition of providing accommodation & hosting events for students
from all parts of the country and all parts of the globe, spanning all faculties.
• Millennium project: a group of students went to Nicaragua
to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch
• Citywise an educational project for disadvantaged
kids in the inner cities of Dublin, Limerick and Belfast
• Seminars hosting guest speakers on topics varying
from astronomy to climbing Mount Everest

the mind ….
Israel 2000, Santiago 2001, Brussels 2002 and the Eternal City yearly
with UNIV, an International Student Congress held in Rome. Each year, students
discuss issues which affect their lives and the society to which they belong.
It’s like university campuses from all over the world getting together for
a week as Rome chatters with the sound of students from the 4 corners…

for the first time, I was still very much in a secure, relaxed and friendly
environment. The other girls in the 'Res' were the first and some of the
best friends I made on moving to Dublin."

Put something back into society?
Citywise, is an inner city educational project run by students.
Each week students give grinds to youngsters from inner city Dublin.
You can be a part of their challenge to get their homework done and build
a future! Summertime brings Citywise summer camp, packed with fun, excursions
