HISTORY Electromotors was started in 1952 by it's present day Managing Director - Paddy Mc Donnell. Essentially in the early days the company was mostly involved in the maintenance and repair of electrical plant and machinery.
The early days consisted - like in all rewind and repair shops - of acquiring the winding materials wherever you could to ensure the best professional approach to repair.
Major improvements and developments in the production of new materials and techniques meant that we were able to import these items from overseas - particularly from the USA . We were able to offer these to our colleagues and compatriots in the rewinding business.
This was the starting point of an enviable reputation in the electrical business in the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.
Since those early days we have been known to find the "unfindable".

GROWTH Inevitably, the price of labour will exceed the price of replacement units and in a lot of ways this is the case the world over. Products from mass-manufacturing plants have become increasingly more easily available. ELECTROMOTORS was one of the companies in IRELAND to recognise this early on and began to develop it's stocks of units for this developing market.
