Functional Descriptions (By Parameter No.)

The PWM control carrier frequency is set to 0.8kHz before shipment from the factory. However, this carrier frequency can be changed to "reduce motor noise during motor drive" and to "avoid mechanical resonance".

Data setting range (kHz)

0.8 . 1.1 . 1.6 . 2.5 . 5.0 . 7.5 . 10.0 . 12.5 . 15.0 (Nine types of settings are possible)

Notes)

1. This setting can be changed during operation, but the following groups (low frequency group) and (high frequency group) can be set only when the operation is stopped.

(1) Low frequency group : 0.8, 1.1, 1.6 (kHz)

(2) High frequency group : 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 12.5, 15.0 (kHz)

2. The carrier frequency may change automatically depending on the state when using vector control (when parameter No. 65 is set to "1").
