Vail Ó Flatharta sings traditional songs from Connemara
Vail O Flatherta is a sean-nós singer from An Cheathrú Rua in Connemara. Gifted with a great talent for improvisation and variation, he has been singing since boyhood. His songs were learned form neighbours and friends and on this record he sings some of the great songs from the western tradition. Texts and music are copiously annotated in a very handsome production.
