Leo Rowsome

The first LP of Uilleann piping ever made, by a great twentieth century master. Leo Rowsome (1903 - 1970) not only taught many of todays virtuoso pipers, he crafted and maintained their instruments. Here he plays reels, jigs, hornpipes and descriptive pieces, including his acclaimed version of The Foxchase.
