Duncannon & Surrounding Area

Duncannon is on the 'Ring of Hook' drive. This is one of the most historic areas in Ireland. It is also within easy reach of Tramore, (see below), Waterford, Dunmore East, New Ross, Wexford (Ferrycarriag below centre) Rosslare and Enniscorthy. There are annual festivals close by such as the 'Fethard Street Party', 'Cockle Festival', Duncannon, 'Tour de France', 'Wexford Opera Festival', and many Agricultural Shows and sport events and the exciting 'Tagoat Steam Rally'. (see below). You can also dine on the Galley Cruising Restaurants for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner - booking can be made from The Quay, New Ross.

How to reach us

From Wexford: Take the R733 from Wexford. Approximately 7 miles past Wellingtonbridge turn left on R757 to Duncannon.

From Waterford: Take the Passage East Car Ferry from Waterford to Ballyhack. Turn right coming off the Ferry to Duncannon. The Ferry operates from 7.30 am to 10 pm.

From New Ross: Take the Fethard-on-Sea road to the R733 turn right and at the next junction turn left for Duncannon on R737.
