Belvedere Pair in FAI Schools
Squad
Belvedere Under 17's Premier players Alan Clarke and Michael Leahy are included
in the FAI Schools squad for the forthcoming International
programme which kicks off this week with a trip to Wales. The squad has been
whittled down from an original training panel of over 30 players from all over
the country and manager Sean Carr hopes that the work and preparation will help
them regain the Centenary Shield which was relinquished to England last season.
"The game against Wales will be a good indication of how far the squad has come
and will be a useful indicator ahead of next week’s Centenary Shield match
against Scotland."
