Barker and Burke Named in Ireland Under 17 Squad
Belvedere Under 16's players, Michael Barker and Graham were included in the Republic of Ireland Under 17 squad for the double friendly internationals with Hungary played on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th February 2010.
Ireland won the first match 2 - 0 on Tuesday at Tolka Park, Dublin and 1 - 0 in the second match on Thursday at the Carlisle Grounds, Bray. This was the squad's final warm-up for the Under-17 UEFA Championship elite phase qualifiers taking place in Greece from the 19th - 24th March 2010.
Manager Sean McCaffrey' side are scheduled to meet Finland, Austria and host nation Greece in the mini-group with the aim of clinching top spot and the one available qualifying place into the European Championships in Liechtenstein in May.
