O'Halloran and Skelly Named in Ireland Under 17 Squad
Belvedere
players, Tom O'Halloran and Sean Skelly have been named in the Republic of
Ireland Under 17 squad for the double friendly internationals with Poland on
Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23 April 2009. Also included in manager Sean
McCaffery's 18 man squad is former Belvedere player Danny Joyce ( Reading
). The first match on Tuesday is at United Park, Drogheda, while the
second match on Thursday 23 April will be played at the new Tallaght stadium
which will host its first ever international fixture since it opened in March this year.

Bulgaria v Republic of Ireland
Belvedere Under 16's Sean Skelly has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under 17 squad for the double friendly internationals away to Bulgaria in Sophia on August 12th and 14th 2008. Also named in the18 man squad is former Belvedere player Danny Joyce who signed for Reading in July.
These friendly matches will be used by Republic of Ireland Under 17 Manager Sean McCaffrey as preparation for the UEFA Championship, first qualifying phase in September 2008 where Ireland will face the group hosts Luxembourg along with Greece and Andorra.
