Disappointment for Republic of Ireland Under 17's
The Republic of Ireland Under 17's failed to qualify for the final stages of the European Championship when they lost 3 - 0 to Serbia & Montenegro on Friday 30th April. Ireland won 4 - 0 in their opening match against Romania on Monday and drew 1- 1 with Israel on Wednesday.
Serbia & Montenegro go through as winners to play in the finals in Luxemburg in May.
Belvedere's Cillian Sheridan played in all three matches as did former Belvedere players Gary Breen (Man City) and Paul Cahillane (Celtic).
