FEASTDAY OF ST. FINNIAN 12th DECEMBER - St. Finnian studied in Idrone (Co. Carlow) and later, in Wales and on his return he settled in Clonard, Co. Meath around 520, where he established a famous school. His pupils, among whom were Canice, Colum Cille and Brendan, were the initiators of the great monastic expansion in Ireland. He died in 549 and is remembered as tutor of the saints of Ireland.

NEW BULLETIN FORMAT: In the coming weeks the parish hopes to launch a new bulletin format for our parishioners which we hope will be of assistance to parishioners in explaining the scriptures, helping people to pray and keeping everyone up to date on what is happening in our parish.

To all, of whatever country or language, whether living among us or visiting for a time, we welcome you all, and we pray God's blessings on you - a blessing that you will bring away to many others to enrich their lives with the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
