The unit includes

• 30 acute and rehabilitation beds
• 20 place day hospital
• Dedicated physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy space
• Conservatory type 'ambulatory' for walking practice
• Disability accessible courtyard
• Occupational therapy 'flat' with bedroom/kitchen/bathroom
• Tutorial room, suitable for carer education programmes
• Close proximity to diagnostic facilities
