A Drama / Documentary depicting the events leading up to the signing of the Anglo Irish treaty of 1921.

The film was shot in various locations including Carton House, Newbridge House, Newman House and Henrietta St. The interior of DeValera's bedroom, Bewley's Café and the interior of a train carriage were built in studio.
