Saturday night chat / music show featuring resident band and guest presenter each week. The show was live from Studio 4 in RTE each week.

A raised entrance area front of the neon Saturday Live logo led to the chat area. A custom built curved settee accommodated up to 6 guests.

The busy upholstery fabric contrasted to the subtle texture of the chat area backings, broken by greenery and lighting units to add interest to close ups.

An abstract city skyline behind a steel grid ran behind the whole set, unifying chat and entertainment area.

The entertainment area itself consisted of several different levels to accommodate the resident band with musical director Bill Whelan at the piano centre. In front of the piano was space for guest performers.
