An international concert from Olavshallen, Trondheim, Norway marking the 60th Birthday of the King & Queen of Norway during Trondheims's millennium. The Norwegian King and Queen were joined by the Royalty of Europe for an evening of entertainment featuring acts from each kingdom. 

An abstract landscape / cityscape of curved  flattage created a performance area behind a gauzed false proscenium. A gauze blinder was flown immediately upstage of the proscenium to mask changeovers during introductions by hostess Liv Ulmann.

Centrestage an open staircase curved around the resident band area, masked when not featured, by a series of flown banners. A further set of banners, sail-like gauze shapes and tubular flown elements were combined in a variety of ways for each act.

Translucent panels on the upstage and wing flattage allowed further variations on each look in conjunction with the colour and gobo treatment of the production lighting.
