A cookery series hosted by Carrie Crowley. Two well known chefs cook impromptu recipes based on ingredients drawn from "the pot", a device holding numbered balls relating to ingredient cards held by members of the audience.. A panel from the audience judge the final results. The series was recorded over a 3 week period at Film Lighting Facilities Studio in Dublin. The set consisted of a central raised entrance area between two mirrored kitchens. A "larder", built as two sliding units, closed behind the Chefs as they entered and made their way down front to where the "pot" was positioned. After the drawing of ingredients was complete the pot was re-positioned on the central raised area and the larder unit reopened. For the judging at the end of each show the "Gourmet Gallery", a diner height counter and stools, was set in front of the audience.
